I'm half-tempted to do some mind bendng levels with it :) Prod me on steam if you have any questions, I'm holding out on this Google+ shit atm. It's not perfect I still have to patch a few parts like when the player leaves the paint (easy enough), when the cam tries to rotate through portals and spazzes out (seems fairly easy) and some stuff like the player's hitbox not being rotate properly (haven't looked into that yet, but seems straightforward), but hey, it's quite a good start :) If anyone's interested, I could probably release it as a barebones sourcemod for you to mess around with. There's a lot of old code in there from when they were using sticky gel including some for example that calculates the angle of the sticky paint you're standing on - so I applied a small patch to write those values over the camera rotation and player rotation and hey presto or something like that. So unlike other approaches, such as my first attempt (Prey), Omnicoder's method or FelixGriffin's method, this isn't faked with rotating levels, predefined surface normals and paint triggers.
