You truly feel like you’re surviving together in the zombie apocalypse. You can enjoy the game solo, but you’ll have a much better time in sessions with some friends. What’s most important about Left 4 Dead 2, much like the original, is its focus on cooperative play. The higher the tier, the more damage that weapon can do. There’s something for every situation, including shotguns, grenade launchers, and melee weapons. The weapons in this game are a blast to use. You’re thus forced to adapt after several sessions, which keeps you on your toes. As you progress through each level, the AI gets progressively harder. There are a total of five campaigns with several levels included in each.
She can kill a survivor with just one blow, making it all the more important to use stealth tactics when around her. The Witch is particularly startling to come across. There are new additions that pose all sorts of challenges, especially later on in the story.
As far as the infected in this game, they are pretty brutal. There are many modes you can explore as well, including campaign, versus, single-player, survival, and scavenge. They all have unique personalities, making them easy to get attached to. There are four new survivors to choose from, including Coach, Nick, Rochelle, and Ellis. It uses the same Source engine that was used in the original. Ten years have passed and even still, this game is amazing to play with others.
